The Osa Peninsula Of Costa Rica
This region is most commonly known as the Osa Pennsula. Nature lovers go crazy here because this is where you can find the largest portion of preserved land in national parks of Costa Rica. Some other things you will find in it are: the highest mountain in Costa Rica, Mount Chirripo; Pavones, one of the longest left surf breaks in world; and Corcovado National Park, one of the most biologically diverse places in the world. You will find the Osa Peninsula extending from Playa Dominical, south to Panama.

Adventures Of A Traveling Family In Coban Guatemala
This is another of our exciting family adventures in Guatemala. This time my husband and I decided that we wanted to take our son for a visit to Semuc Champey and the Lanquin Caves. For that we had to stay in the nearby town of Cobn. But let’s talk about the town first: Cobn is a beautiful town located in the Alta Verapaz Department of Guatemala. It is located 1320 meters above sea level and it gets a bit chilly at night so don’t forget to bring a jacket. It is also one of the major coffee producers of the country. An was once home for many germans. Plus it is located among mountains and forests that guard one of Guatemala’s treasures: the Monja Blanca Orchid. (this country’s national flower).
Day Trip In Volcano National Park – Costa Rica
My family and I were in Alajuela, Costa Rica, and decided to go on a day trip to Poas Volcano National Park. Just the trip to get there was an adventure. After we got picked up we drove through coffee plantations, strawberry fields and lush green slopes filled with cattle and enjoyed the beautiful scenery that this area has to offer. After we got there but before the actual tour started we saw a beautiful, scale model of the Poas Volcano and took some time to enjoy a hot cup of authentic Costa Rican coffee at the visitor’s center.

Adventure In The Osa Peninsula
Just to try something new my husband and I decided to head off to the Osa Peninsula. But to be honest we didn’t know what to expect. That was because I had heard stories about how remote yet interesting this area was. After thinking a lot about that comment we finally decided to fin out what the Osa Peninsula really was and off we went.
